*Initial options use a soft credit check with no impact to your score. Continuing with a full application involves a hard credit inquiry. Five minutes refers to the initial estimate, not approval or funding; timing varies. Rates and terms depend on qualification.

How much equity could you access?

Your property’s value and existing loan balances are the starting point. Your credit, income, occupancy, and lender guidelines also matter.

*Uses a 90% combined loan-to-value (CLTV) assumption. Up to 90% CLTV may be available for eligible borrowers and properties; not every program allows this maximum. This is not a quote or approval. Underwriting, program caps, and fees may reduce available funds.

A simpler way to explore your equity

Built for convenience.
Backed by personal guidance.

Explore the possibilities online. Understand the payment, fees, and repayment structure before deciding whether a HELOC fits.

Start from wherever you are

Use the online application. Eligible programs may verify income and property value electronically; additional documentation may be required.

Explore rate structures

Fixed-rate options may be available. Compare them with variable-rate programs and understand how future draws and payments work.

Keep your first mortgage

A second-lien HELOC lets you explore borrowing against equity separately from your existing mortgage, subject to qualification.

Have a real person to call

Jordan helps you compare the numbers and understand the next step, from initial questions through lender review and closing.

Give your equity a purpose

What would the funds help you do?

A clear goal—and a realistic repayment plan—make the decision easier.

Consolidate debt

Compare qualifying higher-interest balances with the HELOC’s payment, fees, and total repayment cost.

Plan for education

Explore financing for tuition, training, or other planned education expenses.

Improve your home

Consider renovations, repairs, solar, or energy improvements that fit your budget.

Build or upgrade an ADU

Explore equity for an accessory dwelling unit, subject to project costs and your loan terms.

A HELOC is secured by your home. Debt consolidation converts unsecured balances into home-secured debt, and a longer repayment period may increase total interest.

Know before you borrow

A few questions worth asking.

Digital convenience should come with clarity about the loan.

Does a HELOC replace my first mortgage?

A second-lien HELOC is separate from your existing mortgage and generally preserves its rate and terms. It adds a new payment, fees, and a lien against your home.

Is the rate fixed, and how fast can it fund?

Fixed-rate options may be available; other HELOCs have variable rates. Timing depends on underwriting, verification, title, state requirements, closing, and any applicable waiting period. Your specific offer governs.

Will checking options affect my credit?

This page’s calculator does not pull credit. The lender application may use a soft or hard inquiry at different stages. Review its credit authorization before continuing.

Can I draw more funds or repay early?

Draw periods, initial draw requirements, minimum amounts, payment recalculation, and early-closure charges vary by lender. Ask about each of these before you accept an offer.
